** Parts of this update were written weeks ago because of the issues I've been having with my hands; it took me a long time to get the survey out and take pictures of the puddings/shakers because of pain. **

I'm sorry, I know with Pintopia going on this is HORRIBLE timing but it's the best I could do. Hard-ish deadline for this survey is February 9th. On that date, I will mark anything low stock as "hidden" if I'm taking it with me to Katsucon, and you will not be able to select it. Anything purchased during the live campaign/selected before that point is still reserved for you. I will not CHARGE until Feb 13th, unless you are someone who selected the option to be charged upon submission. Shipping will begin in the latter half of February because I will need time to recover after Katsucon to avoid Post-Exertional Malaise.  CONTACT ME if you need an extension on payment so that I know to still reserve your items - I don't bite!! I haven't graded them all yet, but here are the pros and cons so far.

Pros: for very metal-heavy designs, there are very very few scratches; the pearl details look nice; the glow enamel works well; the polishing seems pretty even (no super blown-out lines); the print work is very clean.
Con (singular con noticed thus far): all of Dullahan appear to have pitting in the black swirly pearl (the smoke). This means there were microbubbles in the enamel when it hardened, a lot of them, and when they were polished the microbubbles became holes. They're not noticeable at arm's length so I'm still considering them to be standards, but this is still an avoidable issue that's quite frustrating, so I apologize for it.

Eye candy:**

All colorways I wanted to make of eye candy exist now! For the konpeito milk-inspired one, all the eyeball and konpeito colors and the decal are random. By the decal, I mean that I digitally airbrushed each "eye candy" logo independently with different pastels so none are exactly the same.

A purple version of the eye boba** is currently wip but didn't get here in time for this survey. It should be in my final online shop opening after Katsucon, and since I'll start shipping late Feb, I added it as a limited add-on but it will be technically a preorder. It looks REALLY cool:



Also, "Mermaid slime jelly pudding" (unfortunately not actually slime, jelly, or pudding - it's a squishy) will also be on surveys:

And I now have a couple colorway options for fangtastic blood pudding so I added that too (even though I opted not to do my vamp as a pin 🥲): 

 
The version with opaque pudding comes with a red ball chain and the version with translucent red comes with red syringe clasps. The art is also glossy (like most of mine) and hand-applied for the red ones, and the orangier ones are printed on.

I am also adding blood ion jelly**

They come with red blood bag clasps.

Lastly I adapted the brain cake and zombie  snax art I had before to a zombie snax pudding lid design** also!!



I.... really love the pudding squishies. And I'm allergic to silicone so it makes me extra happy that these are TPR not silicone. I have over 25 pudding lid designs now.

I apply all these transfers by hand (excluding the ones with matte printing) so placement will vary, especially because of my hand pain and tremors, but I'm doing my best and anything super off kilter I hang onto and will sell as B grade someday, I guess at conventions.

All of these things are also on the survey and kinda limited but I did have to order full stock of them, so I really don't expect anything to come close to selling out. So Katsucon will be very monster girl heavy for me lol.

I meant to send out surveys Jan 1st, but so many things just were out of my hands. Ultimately, I'm glad that Mummy, Dullahan, and Mermaid (backers only, see below) arrived before I sent them.

However, since they made me send all the seconds pins back too I now have to re-sort through them...and they double-bagged them AGAIN even though I explicitly asked them not to.

Honestly, for fulfillment for her I think I'll just sort as I go because this is too much. 🥴



Her eyebrows were really important because of her vertical brow piercings.

However, I sent them 12 Golem back to "fix" and they only returned 11 and are insisting I only sent 11, so now I'm just arbitrarily out $6 and have 1 less of her.

I have these now too, they JUST arrived!!

It's not very visible in this lighting, but the sparkle in the smoke and the armwarmers/sleeves on Dullahan IS visible in person and they look amazing!! Especially the smoke.

Mummy's shadows on her veiny hands look very good, really subtle but they stand out in person like I wanted.

I am actively counting them because I JUST got them but ran to edit this update, which was only drafted with the Demon info, so that I could show you them. I hope they're great and will grade them as quickly as I can.

I also need to mention that Mermaid hasn't shipped to me yet because her printing wasn't done right, the skin (which looks amazing!) is much darker than intended because of the various steps in the production process, so when they printed the shadows on her skin they turned out WAY too pale and instead look like uncanny highlights. They didnt sample her, they did all 100 that way without running it by me so they are now printing back over them with a new color we decided on. This manufacturer hateeesss me now. 😬 the feeling is pretty mutual, how hard is communication...I mean, really... when she does finally ship she should be here within 3 business days since they use FedEx.

PS: Assuming everyone will be done in time (including Kuchisake-Onna and Harpy, whose molds just finished being made last week), I will have a $15 spin GACHA machine at Katsucon and a $20 GACHA machine. So, you guys all got them at a discount, some very hefty.

  • Angel's issues have been fixed and are back into production with the new enamel types 
  • Demon has just been shipped back to me with fresh eyebrows
  • Reprinted Gorgon just arrived, BUT as I feared, the quality seems poor (wrong color enamel in random places on high % of pins) and I'm certain that's because they no longer like me. 
  • Mermaid came out a bit puzzlingly because her "shadows" came out lighter than her sandy skintone, so they're going to print a darker color over it. Will show before and after when that's resolved. 
  • Kuchisake-Onna and Harpy have been sent into mass production with the same manu as Angel after thorough print reviewing.

Angel's remake process has started, and if required to reduce the flaw rate of the white sparkly "skin," they will be using another pearl/mica method to make it. It's kind of play it by ear right now because the rep does feel really bad about the whole batch being crummy, and I don't want to be taking up a ton of their time and materials either, so I'm trying to make sure all details are ironed out properly this time.

As mentioned in previous posts, she's really bad quality overall. I have enough to fulfill the campaign orders IF we ultimately decide to keep the enamel materials the same, but I don't have any to fulfill gacha or if people were to add her to their surveys, she's about 80% with very major issues:

Most of the problem pins are because the pearl colors are inexplicably all bleeding into each other in the hair, but many also have random blue and black speckles throughout all the white pearl, which is their "skintone"... If we do decide to change the pearl white to something else that's less prone to debris and easier for the workers to keep in the right cavities, then I will need to fulfill all of the orders via the remakes because you all should have the same type of pin.

Demon's 100 pins are being sent straight back to China, they paid the shipping so I don't have to do that. That's GREAT too because I looked it up, and uhhh it would've cost me $340 to send back on my own. I'm upset that she doesn't glow like she's supposed to on her skin, but at least her eyes do still glow:


While we were at it, they had me include the 12 flawed Golems that were missing enamel too, because if they agree that they're not good they'll remake at least that many...so they say. If the printing works out, whether or not they can fix those 12 Golem I will be super, super grateful for that - But, that currently remains to be seen. There's also about 20 more Golems with substantial issues but they ignored those and just focused on the ones with empty cavities.


They've also got Gorgon the proper colors again:

Gorgon was initially made with the wrong gradient. After much back and forth, she is being remade correctly. Details can be found here.

However, if you're someone who got Gorgon who PREFERS the incorrect-gradient version please let me know and you can have her, they're mostly good quality just not matching the artwork...

And as I showed the backers of the first campaign last week, TV Cat is practically all perfect!!


Mermaid is about 3/4 finished...she just requires the clear enamel/epoxy/whatever they're topping it off with, and then printing...not sure why they plated her first...


Lastly, here's an updated Dullahan.



I've been reassured that the navyish color is a static glitter/pearl effect now, the lighting is just poor and it isn't visible. The reason I wanted that to be a very faint pearlescent (and not swirly) is to resemble high-opacity nylon stockings. The glow effect is still really good despite the added color, which they were worried about, but it looks great to me:

So she's now wonderful! The only disappointment I have about Dullahan is that her nails look a bit dark, we did actually try a much brighter color with this 2nd sample but the plating affects the shade way more than anticipated because the cavities are so tiny... There's also the chance the lighting is just totally washing it out, it's like that in photos I take of Zombie from campaign 1 somehow and her nails wind up looking grey in some pictures...but they're super vibrant.


Next update will be after I've submitted my surveys for review for this campaign, so in about a week, with info on new stuff (mostly keychains) that will be available in it! Thanks.

The batch of pins that was Angel and all geode pets came out really atrocious. I'll include more info in the next update but remake quantities are currently being negotiated. We had to grade every single one and then I, as the contact,  had to take videos of each individual one and email about it so it was a massive chore.

I'm still being told Mummy and Dullahan should ship to me in about a week, and Gorgon's printing is finally the right color for real. Golem unfortunately needs some remakes too because a huge number of her are  entirely missing a fingernail and/or have some enamel mix-ups. However, I have enough to fulfull current orders of her (cross-collab backers) but I don't have enough for survey or gacha stock which is why I need remakes.

GOOD NEWS is that it took very very little time to grade TV cat because she looks great!!



TV Cat, Golem, Demon, Gorgon, and WIP Mermaid are all from the same super expensive manu. The end quality of the pins is some of the best I've EVER received including attention to detail, and they're super fast, but their graphic designers are the absolute worst I have ever had to work with in the last 9 years. 

I'll have pics for you of the Golem stickers soon too they came out amazing!
